Small businesses needed proper double-entry books without hiring an accountant for the data entry. With Hubble, the user records the transaction once — the system generates the journal entries, ledger, trial balance, income statement and balance sheet automatically.
I designed and built it as a freelance project, consulting with experienced bankers on the accounting rules. It handled over 500 transactions a day in production.
